I was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. At age 15, I knew dentistry was my passion. My first job was in a dental laboratory fabricating oral appliances. My passion for learning the craft of delivering excellent dental care continued to develop as I assisted in as many different clinical settings including pediatric, cosmetic, general, and public health dentistry. I graduated from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in 2017 and worked in Arizona for a short time before moving to Alaska to settle my roots with my beautiful wife and family.
I always believed that dentistry can help change lives so I continue to educate myself in advanced dental procedures including implants, Invisalign, and cosmetic dentistry. My passion today is to use technology to assist in delivering the most comfortable dental experience possible.
Dr. Aivy Dao was born and raised in the Midwest. After being influenced by her older brother, a bouldering orthodontist, she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Temple University’s School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA. She has also further advanced her dental training with a one-year Graduate Residency Program (GPR) at St Joseph Mercy Oakland hospital in Pontiac, MI. She spent her early career practicing in Austin, TX working between 2 large multi-specialty group practices with underserved and pediatric populations.
Her favorite part of dentistry is developing bonds with patients, and her main priority is giving them high-quality services at our office. She prides herself in working extensively with patients with high dental anxiety to improve their experiences. She has special interests in root canal procedures, extractions, and utilizing new dental technologies to make dentistry simpler and educate patients. When Dr. Dao is not at the office, she spends her free time with her lovely friends, family, and significant other, a physician at Alaska Regional Hospital. She enjoys sauna culture, Asian cuisine, and learning about new people, places, and things. She also hopes to take up fishing in Alaska, as her parents’ hometown in Vietnam is a fishing village, and her ancestors have been fishermen for hundreds of years.
Andrew was born and raised in Colorado and after high school joined the United States Army. After separating from the service he enrolled in University of Alaska Anchorage and continues to pursue his education there. Andrew joined the Woodside Dental team in 2022 and has seen how impactful a beautiful smile can be in a person’s life. In his spare time, Andrew enjoys all things Alaska; hiking, fishing, being around a fire pit with friends, and the breathtaking views. He looks forward to being a part of your smile journey.
Jennifer has been in dentistry since 2014. Because she has held many different positions in the dental field she is well equipped to help her patients make the investment to achieve a happy, healthy smile. She loves learning and finding new creative ways to enhance each day for both her patients and her staff. In her free time, Jennifer likes to experience all Alaska has to offer with her family and her dogs.
Brandi has been in the dental field since 2016. Her favorite part of the day is seeing how much happiness a changed smile will bring to her patients. She is originally from Arizona and moved with her family to Anchorage in 2021. They enjoy camping, watching the Northern Lights, and exploring Alaska’s beautiful wilderness.
Madison grew up in Alaska. She’s only been in dentistry a short time, but her background in a dental insurance call center prepared her well for the field. She loves to converse with our patients and greet everyone with a smile. In her free time she likes to spend time with my dog and in the summer she likes to explore the great outdoors.
Seniolynn has been in dentistry for 16 years. Her favorite things about dentistry are helping patients and being a part of giving someone back their beautiful smile and learning new things. Seniolynn is originally from the Micronesian island of Pohnpei, but has lived in Alaska for 8 years.
Sierra is a single mother of two wonderful children. She was born and raised in Anchorage with a huge passion for dentistry. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor Alaska adventures when she isn’t keeping up with a bed and breakfast.
Haley Williams was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She has been in Alaska for three years and loves everything outdoors. If you're skiing on the slopes in Hilltop, you'll probably see her ripping the park! After her previous career being a Pre-K teacher should found a new passion in dentistry.
Krista was born and raised in Anchorage. She graduated from UAA with a Bachelor of Science, and has recently discovered a newfound passion in the field of dentistry. In her free time she enjoys rock climbing, nature photography, and watching wildlife. Her favorite part about dentistry is connection with patients and helping them on their journey to achieving a healthy smile.
Presley enjoys helping patients through their journey of obtaining good oral hygiene. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her dogs (ask her about them when you see her) and going on hikes She moved to Anchorage in June 2022 from Kansas City, Missouri and is slowly adjusting to the Alaskan lifestyle!
Bekah grew up in Connecticut and began her career in the dental field as an assistant prior to attending dental hygiene school in Utah. After practicing as a hygienist in Utah for a while, she moved to Alaska with her husband and two cats in 2023 to join Woodside Dental Group. In her spare time she enjoys weightlifting, reading, and walking.
